Travis Sinclair has established himself as an independent powerhouse in the Australian country music industry. Raised in the tiny highway town of Springhurst in North East Victoria, Travis was born into a life of "22 wheels, country music, and a daily injection of dieseline." With his family involved in the transport industry for some 80 years, it was expected he would follow that path, but his passion for performance was undeniable. After receiving encouragement from industry stars like Tania Kernaghan, he began playing gigs locally and interstate, eventually attending the Australian Country Music College in 2000.

Travis burst onto the recording scene with his debut album, Rhythm of the Highway, in 2001. His talent was quickly recognised when he was chosen to tour Australia with "The Man From Snowy River Arena Spectacular" in 2002, serving as the understudy to Lee Kernaghan for ten weeks.
