Growing up on her family farm in Mount Russell, regional Australia, Melanie Dyer lives and breathes country music. She began telling her stories through song at just twelve years old, when her autobiographical track "Life on the Land" was chosen as the anthem for the National Drought Appeal. Today, she seamlessly blends her authentic farm-girl roots with dynamic stagecraft and contemporary pop-country songwriting.

Melanie’s growing catalogue includes the acclaimed albums Fresh (featuring a title track co-penned by Morgan Evans) and Between You and Me, which earned her Golden Guitar nominations and the APRA Professional Development Award. She achieved massive crossover success with her multi-million streaming smash "Memphis T-Shirt," which spent six weeks at #1 on the Australian Country Hot 50 Chart, secured mainstream radio play, and earned an APRA nomination. Her recent output includes the stunningly honest single "Fences" and "Dumb Decisions," a fan-favourite duet with Caitlyn Shadbolt that sparked a national co-headline tour.

Known for a warm charisma that makes her songs feel like advice from a best friend, Melanie has commanded stages at some of the world's biggest country festivals, including CMC Rocks in Australia and CMA Fest in Nashville. She has been embraced by the Music City songwriting community, leading to writing collaborations and a duet with rising US country star Troy Cartwright. Following an action-packed run of festival dates and hit single releases, Melanie has her sights set on her next studio record and the next major chapter of her career in Nashville.
