Multi-award-winning singer-songwriter Dianne Coombes has been steeped in music for as long as she can remember. Growing up surrounded by musical family get-togethers and constantly invading her father’s dance band rehearsals, she cut her teeth as a performer by singing with his band at country halls, balls, and local RSLs from the age of fourteen.

In 2016, Dianne released her acclaimed debut album, Walk With Me, produced by Lindsay Waddington. While the project earned prestigious awards and rave reviews, that same year brought immense heartbreak when she lost her husband to lung cancer. Turning to music as a refuge, Dianne poured herself into songwriting to navigate her grief—a profound healing process that has culminated in a remarkable, deeply personal body of work.

Her recent releases have resonated strongly with audiences across the country. The hit single "Small Town With a Big Heart," co-written with Angus Gill, soared to No. 1, while three other tracks have spent significant time in the Top 10 on the Australian Country Music Charts and featured on ABC's Grassroots program. Her undeniable talent continues to be celebrated by the industry, kicking off 2025 as a finalist in seven categories at the Independent Country Music Awards of Australia, alongside major nominations at the Australian Bush Balladeers Association (ABBA) Music Excellence Awards and the Tamworth Songwriters Association (TSA).
