Based between Sydney and the Blue Mountains, Copperline is a dynamic four-piece country rock band known for their raw, organic sound and authentic storytelling. The group features Brad Christmas (vocals, guitars, keyboards), Gareth Richards (drums, vocals), and brothers Paul (guitar) and Matt Handel (bass)—seasoned musicians who have collectively been part of the fabric of the Australian music scene for decades.

The band’s recording journey began in 2018 alongside multi-ARIA and Golden Guitar-winning producer Shane Nicholson. Their warmly received debut album, Rusty Fords and Weatherboards, delivered the award-nominated lead single "Woman’s Touch." They reunited with Nicholson for their grittier 2022 sophomore release, Borrowed, Broken and Blue. The album’s standout track, the haunting "Lucinda"—a deeply personal tribute to Brad Christmas’ late daughter—racked up over 180,000 Spotify streams and took home the Australian Songwriters Association Award for Ballad of the Year.
