Lauded by many as "one to watch," Gympie-born Caitlyn Shadbolt has evolved from a promising young talent into one of Australia's most accomplished country-pop artists. A finalist on the sixth season of The X Factor Australia (2014), Caitlyn quickly turned national attention into a sustaining career, securing a recording deal with ABC Music and establishing herself as a genuine force in the industry.

Her debut album, Songs On My Sleeve (May 2017), made an immediate impact, hitting #1 on the ARIA Country Album chart. The lead single, "My Break Up Anthem," dominated the airwaves, holding the #1 spot on the National Country Airplay Chart for over eight consecutive weeks and finishing as the second most-played song on country radio that year. This breakout success was formally recognised when she won the CMC Award for Best New Artist and received a nomination for Female Artist of the Year.

Caitlyn continued to refine her sound with her sophomore album Stages (2020), featuring hit singles "Edge of the Earth" and "Bones." Co-produced by Caitlyn and Stuart Stuart during lockdown, the album showcased her growing skills in the studio, with all vocals and acoustic guitars recorded in her makeshift home setup.

She took this creative control even further with her third studio record, Bloom & Surrender (2023). Recorded and produced alongside her partner Matt Smith in their newly built studio, the album marked a significant artistic milestone, blending her country roots with polished pop sensibilities. Now an established name with a catalogue of hits, Caitlyn continues to write, record, and tour, cementing her place in the Australian music landscape.
