A dedicated student of the craft, Beth graduated from the CMAA Academy of Country Music in 2023 as the recipient of the coveted Keith Urban Scholarship, returning in 2025 with support from Sounds NSW. Her songwriting prowess was formally recognised in 2024 when she was named New Songwriter of the Year by the Tamworth Songwriters Association for her single "Rearview Mirror." She has also been a formidable force in the competitive circuit, winning The Ekka’s Country Music Showdown (2023) and reaching the Top 5 Grand Final of the Gympie Music Muster talent search (2024).

Her award-winning single "Rearview Mirror" showcases her collaborative reach, having been produced by James North and featuring US drummer Travis McNabb (Sugarland, Little Big Town). As CMAA Artistic Director Lyn Bowtell notes: "Beth Lucas is going places. She’s got talent and grit, two rare jewels in her crown."

Beth has cemented her spot on the live stage, opening for viral US artist Alexandra Kay and Australian icons like Wendy Matthews, Travis Collins, and Adam Brand. She is a regular fixture at major Queensland events, including the Gympie Music Muster and Groundwater Country Music Festival, joining lineups alongside heavyweights like Kasey Chambers, Jackson Dean, and The Wolfe Brothers.
