Amy Ryan is a young artist with big dreams and a voice that carries the soul of country and folk traditions. A storyteller with an "old soul," she has developed a performance style well beyond her years, shaped by a childhood spent travelling Australia and collaborating with Australian and American icons of folk, bluegrass, and country music since the age of nine.

A family holiday to Australia’s Country Music Capital in 2019 proved to be a turning point in Amy’s journey. Cutting her teeth busking along Peel Street, she developed a work ethic and confidence that quickly set her apart. In 2021, at just eleven years old, she achieved a rare milestone by graduating from the prestigious CMAA Country Music Academy. Today, Tamworth remains a cherished annual destination, and Amy is now a fixture at festivals across the country.

While her music takes her far and wide, Amy holds a deep spiritual connection to the Diamantina region and the outback town of Birdsville. It was here, at just two years old, that her musical journey truly began—tapping two smooth gibber stones together on Adelaide Street, creating rhythm from the landscape itself. This deep connection to the land and its stories continues to define her artistry today.
