Ally Row is a Gunaikurnai/Gippsland-based folk-rock/alt-country duo known for their toe-tapping energy and genre-blending sound. Drawing inspiration from artists like Mumford & Sons and Of Monsters & Men, they armed themselves with velvety harmonies, guitar, piano, modernised banjo, harmonica, and stomp box to create a dynamic live experience that brings audiences to their feet.

Early Success & Rise Since their humble beginnings in mid-2021—touring the East Coast in a rooftop tent—the duo's rise has been unstoppable. Their big break came quickly, winning The Tablelands Folk Festival Songwriting Contest with "Bare Feet" and a major radio competition shortly after with "Struggling to Breathe." Since then, they have taken home top honours at the Triple J Unearthed NYE on the Hill Fest Competition and the Port Fairy Folk Festival Busking Competition.

Touring & Breakout Years 2024 proved to be a breakout year for Ally Row, featuring the release of five original singles and major features on ABC Country. They have shared the stage with industry heavyweights like Golden Guitar winner Fanny Lumsden, folk legend Kim Churchill, and ARIA winner William Crighton. They kicked off 2025 in style at the Tamworth Country Music Festival, opening for The Bushwhackers and Bryce Sainty, and performing two sets on the main Toyota Stage—including a highlight performance at Americana in the Park alongside Andrew Swift. With their strongest year yet underway, Ally Row is just getting started.
