Alice Benfer presents an authentic voice in Australian Traditional Country Music. Raised on a diet of cattle, sugarcane, and country classics, she began her musical journey at the age of seven, joining a local country music club and quickly becoming a fixture on the talent quest circuit. A graduate of the 2014 CMAA Academy of Country Music, Alice has seamlessly transitioned from a promising young talent into a much-loved solo artist known for her spirited live performances.

Alice has enjoyed significant chart success, most notably with her single "Old Felt Hat," which spent four weeks at #1 on the Country Songs Top 40 Chart. Her discography includes the 2021 album What Can I Say—a harmonious blend of originals and classics produced by Sam Hawksley—and her most recent album, Voices From The Bush, released in April 2024.

Alice's songwriting prowess has earned her substantial industry recognition. Her single "Widgee Widgee Station," co-written with Kevin Bennett, placed second in the Great Southern Song Competition and was a finalist for the CCMA National Songwriter of The Year in 2024. In the live arena, she continues to make her mark, having been crowned the winner of the Green Brother’s Country on Keppel Talent Search in 2021.
